Bernard J. Cummings, 86, of Brewster, died Saturday, June 6, 2015 in Dennis, after a brief illness. He was the loving husband of Erna A. Cummings for 62 years.
Bernie was born and raised in Newark, NJ; serving in the Army during the Korean Conflict. While stationed in Munich, Germany, he met his wife Erna. He worked as a brewer for many years at Pabst Blue Ribbon before moving to Cape Cod.
Bernie enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and woodworking. He loved animals, especially dogs.
In addition to his wife, Bernie is also survived by many cousins and nieces.
